Payments

Lessons are paid monthly in advance. The total amount charged depends on how many lessons fall within the month. For example, if lessons are on Wednesdays, you will be charged for the number of Wednesdays in that month.

Cancellations

More than 24 hours’ notice:

You will receive credit for the full lesson fee to use in the future.

Less than 24 hours’ notice:
50% of the lesson fee will be charged and 50% will be credited.

Less than 1 hour before the lesson starts:
The full lesson fee will be charged and no credit will be given.

Tutor Absence and Substitutes
If your tutor is unable to teach a lesson, we will try to find a substitute tutor with similar experience. If we cannot, you will receive credit for the missed lesson.

Late Arrivals
Lessons will end at the scheduled time even if the student arrives late. Lost time cannot be made up.

Lesson Setup and Expectations
Students must be in a quiet, distraction free area and ready to learn. They must have a working camera and microphone and keep their camera on during lessons. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure this for a good learning experience.

Homework and Recordings
Homework is generally not set to avoid overloading students. Lessons are not recorded or shared except for safeguarding purposes.

Behaviour and Termination
We reserve the right to end tuition if there is disruptive behaviour, non-payment or if these terms are not followed.
